About Me
The decision to become a therapist was shaped by more than education—it was shaped by life itself.
Like many of the clients I work with, I've experienced seasons of self-doubt, anxiety, trauma, codependency, grief, addiction, and the uncertainty that comes with trying to find solid ground. I've also been deeply impacted by loving and supporting neurodivergent family members and individuals facing complex life challenges. These experiences have given me a genuine appreciation for how difficult change can be and how important it is to feel truly understood.
Before becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I spent years in medicine, where I developed a strong understanding of the connection between physical and mental health. Combined with my clinical training, lived experiences, recovery journey, experiences with grief and loss, and continued personal and spiritual growth, these chapters have given me a broad perspective on the many factors that influence emotional well-being.
These experiences don't define my work—they deepen it.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that therapy with me feels practical, educational, and collaborative. My goal isn't simply to help people cope with today's challenges. It's to help them understand the patterns that have shaped their lives, recognize the strengths they already possess, and develop the confidence and skills to respond differently moving forward.
I believe lasting change happens when people understand not only what they're experiencing, but why. Through compassion, education, and evidence-based approaches, I help clients identify unhealthy cycles, improve emotional regulation, establish healthy boundaries, strengthen relationships, and develop personalized strategies that support lasting wellness.
One of the most meaningful lessons I've learned is that healing often extends far beyond the individual. As people become healthier, more self-aware, and more resilient, they naturally influence their families, relationships, workplaces, and communities. Acts of healing, kindness, and understanding have a ripple effect.
My hope is that every client leaves therapy with more than symptom relief. I want them to leave with greater self-awareness, practical tools, renewed confidence, and the belief that they can continue growing long after therapy ends. When people discover their own strength and begin living with greater purpose, they're often inspired to support and encourage others, creating positive change that reaches far beyond themselves.
It is a privilege to walk alongside people during some of life's most difficult moments. My commitment is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel fully seen, genuinely understood, and empowered to create the life you want—one step, one insight, and one meaningful change at a time.
